Key Information

  • Application deadlines:
    • Regular cases: until November 7, 2025
    • Illness (Application 2 only): until May 8, 2026
  • Digital ticket only: Please do not activate and do not log in via the ticket portal link if you plan to apply for a refund. • Validity periods:
    • Winter semester: October 1 – March 31
    • Summer semester: April 1 – September 30

Note: If your refund request is approved, the AStA will delete your Germany Semester Ticket in the system by March 31, 2026. Your online ticket will then be invalid for the entire semester, and cannot be reactivated.

Practical notes

  • Do not activate the ticket: If you apply for a refund, do not log in and do not retrieve the ticket
  • Tip for regular use: Load the ticket once at the beginning of the semester into your wallet app to avoid accidental early activation for the next semester
  • Student ID card: You no longer need to present your JLU student card — it does not serve as a valid ticket
