Unlimited theater experience with your student ID card!
Since the summer semester of 2014 students of the Justus-Liebig-University can attend performances at the Stadttheater Gießen easily and free of charge. This applies to performances in both locations: Großes Haus (Südanlage 1) and Kleines Haus (formerly taT-Studiobühne, Ostanlage 43). Included are nearly all theater events and concerts. Only special events are excluded from the ticket. Tickets can be booked three days before the event begins.
And it’s as simple as that:
Digital
- Select your desired performance and date at www.stadttheater-giessen.de
- Reserve a seat
- Select Semesterticket (JLU) for the sales type
- Print or download your ticket
- Show it at the entrance together with your studi-card
Analogue
- Visit the theatre box office (Haus der Karten, Kreutzplatz 6) during opening hours
- Select desired performance
- Reserve a seat
- Show your student ID card
- Take your ticket and show it with your student ID at the entrance
