There is a new possibility for a refund of the semester ticket exclusively for the following group of people:

– people who earn less money than basic security benefits for job seekers (Grundsicherung)

– people who nurse particular family members

– Parents of children younger than 12 or disabled

 

If you fit in the mentioned group of people and search for the needed form, please look at https://www.asta-giessen.de/sonstiges/downloads/ at the section „Semesterticket Rückerstattung“ and „Antrag Rückerstattung aus sozialen Gründen“. There are further terms and condition, please ask if you have any questions via mail @ verkehr@astagiessen.de.

Application for refund is only possible until May 7, 2021.

Please send further inquiries by mail to buero@asta-giessen.de. The AStA staff will give feedback to the applicants by mail. Due to the large number of applications this can take at least 3 weeks. Applications received after the deadline can NOT be considered. All applications received before the deadline will be processed in any case.

Only the invalidated chip card (without RMV/NVV logo in the lower left corner), nothing else, for the summer semester 2021 (date imprinted September 09.2021) can be presented here at the closed office window on the opposite side of the building to the entrance monday – thursday from 10 – 14 o’clock. Please make sure that your journey is without any health risks and always keep your distance. The validated chip cards can also be shown here by your friends.
